TEAMS YOU CAN JOIN WITHIN Human Resources

Business Partner/Senior Business Partner

You'll provide strategic and commercial support for the business in terms of our peoples' roles.

Assistant/Administrative

You'll be responsible for carrying out all of our payroll, admin and HR on-site, including resourcing.

Advisor

If you join us as an Advisor, you'll play an integral part in our HR team by reporting on all employee relations issues.

Learning & Development

You'll provide and create all of the learning and development across all business areas, including Leadership, Development, Sales, Marketing and Exhibitions.

Whether it's ExCel or Olympia, we love sending our team to fantastic events within the UK, as well to locations around the globe such as Cannes, Berlin and the US. In addition, roles within HR have the potential to be broadened within a global remit if you have the capability and willingness to expand your horizons with us.

Upskilling: We hold training sessions to empower our people with knowledge, such as our First Line Management course

Away Days: Once a month we go off-site to focus on how we can develop as a team and grow our own personal skill and talent

Travel: There are plenty of opportunities to attend UK shows, as well as the chance to go overseas to work on international shows

Working in HR

At Reed Exhibitions, our department is much more than just "HR".  We look for individuals who are strategic, operational, personable, driven and tenacious - the nature of HR is often solving complex issues and queries, so you'll need a balanced pragmatism to really excel in this role. To be truly successful, you'll be able to take into account both the business view and our peoples' needs. 

All of the roles within our HR department are extremely varied, which means you'll have many plates that are spinning but no two days are the same. Because of this, you'll need to be able to juggle your workload with big deliverables, while adding real operational value. You should possess a keen commercial understanding, as well as a passion for our business. If you can see the big picture across our organisation, roll your sleeves up and really get to know who we are, then you'll fit right in here.

You might not know

Our 'Rotations Programme' has just kicked off, where people across our UK business who come into or out of HR, can rotate into another role for a 9-12 month period.

We’ve launched a new induction for our Sales teams, an Emerging Talent programme targeting our future talent, and ‘RXpert’ sessions where internal experts share their knowledge with the wider business.

Recently, we've developed a new learning portal called ‘DevelopMe’ where everyone can access information, enrol onto sessions and upload articles to share with colleagues.
